BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — WalletHub has released a list of the best "Foodie Cities in America," and Boise's place on the list is sure to surprise some, one way or the other.
Some transplants from larger cities have complained about the lack of "good restaurants," in Boise, while long-time residents are sure to have noticed a massive increase in both the number of and types of restaurants that have sprung up across the valley.
The WalletHub list compares over 180 different cities on on 28 indicators of "foodie-friendliness." The list looks at living costs, food costs, restaurant prices, and more to determine the list, and Boise ranks #125 out of 182 cities.
The top 10 comes as no shock with cities like Miami, Portland, San Francisco, Austin, and Las Vegas. Another shock on this list, however, is that Nampa, Idaho comes in at 180 out of 182.
